About Chiang Mai National Museum

The National Museum of Chiang Mai, located off the city’s northern highway, exhibits artifacts dating back to the Changsang, Sukhothai, Lop Buri and Ayutthaya periods, including the most exquisite Buddha heads, as well as items from the ethnic minorities of northern Thailand.

The museum has a collection of ancient Buddha statues, artifacts and various weapons.
